On November 28, the “Boys for Gender Equality” project was presented at the Dzikwa Activity Center, with the presence of the founders of the Trust, the Government officials, the Diplomatic corps representatives, our DSA EC members, as well as project management and Trust staff. The presentation of the project was additionally embellished with a cultural program prepared by the students, beneficiaries of the support of the Dzikwa Trust.
DSA President, Mirjana Grujic, emphasised the role of Dzikwa Trust in the progress being made within the framework of gender equality with launching this important project “Boys for gender equality”, and expressed strong support on behalf of the Diplomatic Spouse Association.
With the special pleasure she was noted the fact that DSA member Mrs. Anette Czagany played an important personal role in the modelling of this initiative and project that is aimed at the young boy’s education.Key message to the audience was that we all are responsible within our communities to raise awareness to our boys and girls to be unified and to respect each other, to work together, and that only like the team, like the ONE, we can make our future progressive and successful.
Tackling with this issue is an extraordinary effort and we must fight gender-based violence through education and practical teachings, what are the key tools to address the most dangerous challenge’s and risk the local and global community is facing today in this very complex environment.
