Diplomatic Spouses Association of Zimbabwe announces a bigger and better Diplomatic Charity Bazaar 2025
The Diplomatic Spouses Association of Zimbabwe (DSA) is thrilled to announce that preparations for this year’s Diplomatic Charity Bazaar 2025 set for 25 October 2025 at Old Georgians Sports Club are gaining momentum. This highly anticipated event promises to be a grand celebration of global cultures and cuisines, all in one place, without the need for jet lag.
“The Diplomatic Charity Bazaar is a celebration of our diversity and a testament to the power of culture and food to bring people together,” said Mrs. Mirjana Grujic, President of the Diplomatic Spouses Association of Zimbabwe.
The Diplomatic Charity Bazaar is more than just a culinary event; it’s a platform for cultural exchange, social interaction, and charity. Last year’s event attracted over 1,700 attendees and featured over 160 stalls showcasing Embassies, corporates, and arts and crafts vendors. “We are delighted that 17 Embassies have already confirmed their participation, with more expected to join before our registration deadline next week,” added Mrs. Grujic.
By bringing together diverse cultures and cuisines, the Diplomatic Charity Bazaar promotes cross-cultural understanding, tolerance, respect and empathy. It provides a platform for people to connect with others from different backgrounds, fostering a sense of community and global citizenship. Diplomatic Charity Bazaar plays a vital role in preserving and promoting cultural diversity and treasure.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone from Zimbabwe and abroad to this year’s our main event and exploring the many cultural and business opportunities that it presents,” said Mrs. Grujic.
The Diplomatic Charity Bazaar offers a unique opportunity for businesses to connect with Embassies and other companies. “This event provides a platform for businesses to showcase their products and services to a diverse audience of diplomats, business leaders, and potential clients,” said Mrs. Grujic.
“We encourage businesses and other entities and organizations to participate and take advantage of the networking opportunities available,” she said.
The Diplomatic Charity Bazaar is not just a celebration and promotion of culture and food; it’s also a paramount fundraiser for the DSA’s charity projects. These projects support disadvantaged and marginalized communities in Zimbabwe, providing vital assistance and support. “We are grateful for the support we have received from our corporate partners,” added Mrs. Grujic. “Their partnership will help the DSA to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most and to continue with a sincere commitment to fight the biggest social challenges and risks that transcend national borders and represent a global threat to humanity.”
