The Diplomatic Spouses Association of Zimbabwe (DSA) proudly marks the successful completion of a 2025 project at Jairos Jiri Children’s Centre in Harare.
We officially opened a fully equipped Recreation Hall, giving 168 children with disabilities a safe space to read, play, learn, and thrive beyond the classroom. In addition, the DSA has installed a solar-powered borehole and solarised an existing borehole at the centre, providing a reliable and sustainable water source to support the upcoming garden project and daily operations.
A heartfelt thank you to DSA member Jessika Porte for her generous donation of a brand new playground, complete with a playhouse and trampolines, bringing joy and fun to the children’s lives. Jessika also facilitated the repair of all broken windows across the centre, including dormitories, classrooms, and other common areas.
